IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING


Guess what? We didn't make it through the judging session. We were not short-listed this time. Some people said failure is when "Your best is not good enough." Well it might have some truth there but i prefer to view failure as "The best teacher in the planet."

Why did I say that? Well you see...once we fail, we will been drawn back. It's like when you get pushed to the wall and hit the wall with pain in the arse. It might be painful but one good thing about it is, it will give a great impact in your life. You will remember it, you will not be satisfied with it but you'll LEARN.

The lesson that you got will ensure that you won't repeat the same thing and you know your weaknesses and you learn from it. Success will blind you from seeing your own weaknesses.

It will be lie if I tell you that I prefer failure than success. Of course everyone love success, who doesn't? It's just that the way I view failure is a lil bit different. I view it as my teacher that wants to teach me important lesson that I'm gonna need it in the future. I believe failure is going to shape me to become a better person. So here's the message that i got for Failure...

"Dear failure, teach me as much as you want. Hit me to the wall, punch me to the face, kick me in the arse, stunned me if you want, do whatever it takes for you to teach me the great lessons in life. After that, please let me taste some successes. After all, you've been doing that to prepare me for success."

So...NEVER BACK DOWN!

task for next session

NEXT!.. we received an email from UV about the next task that our group have to do.

The task is
  1. Submit a 250 - 300 words brief of your business idea
  2. Prepare your PowerPoint Slides for the Judging Session.
How the Judging Session works:
  1. Each team would be given 8 minutes to present their business idea to the Judges.
  2. After the presentation, there will be a 5 minute Q&A Session with the Judges.
  3. You may prepare and pass handouts, leaflets, or whatever supporting documents to the judges on the event day. However, remember the key word: "PACKAGING" =)
  4. Each team would be allowed to invite a maximum of 15 friends / supporters (excluding YES 2 teams who didn't get through, in case you're thinking of inviting them...as they are by default, already invited to join us at the event) to the event. Please send in your list of invitees to me by Wednesday (24th March 2010).
  5. In case you're wondering, you will be judged based on the following Criteria:
    a. Products or Services
    b. Market Need & Potential
    c. Competitive Advantage (Differentiating Factors)
    d. Scalability
    e. Barriers to Entry
    f. Revenue Model
    g. Management (Team)
    h. Financials

~ Half Way to Glory - RichyRich : Makes Your Cash Wealthier ~




Our group has been making preparations in presenting our business plan on the next Judging Session. Consequently, we have created a new business description. This is because we now have new fresh ideas to be proposed in our operation. Since the stake of this competition is now high, a lot of new and vital information is included in business detail.

This few weeks has been a hectic week for us due to our midterm exams, assignments and preparing ourselves for the presentation; however, we must divide our time wisely to implement the tasks given to us. Last Saturday, after our examinations, we decided to discuss on our business ideas to enrich our businessight away. It's a lot of commitment I have to say. Although we are stress, we have succeeded in adding all the criteria set by the organizers. We are pleased with the improvements and the information has been entered for our business.

Actually, we are quite worried because we think that we do not have enough time to make preparations and training for our presentation but YES, we take it as a challenge that we should overco0me it before we tackle the real business world.

Last but not least, we also need to keep ourselves healthy to avoid any unwanted incidents before we face the presentation this Saturday. We did jog and consume healthy food

TOP 12

2 Days after the BreakThru Session, we, RichyRich received an email from Uv from MoneyTree. In the email, he congratulate us for making it to the Top 12. We are 1 of 40 teams that managed to get short-listed :)

It's a joy for us. When we got the email, we were so thrill and happy and no word can describe how we felt. We consider our business as our baby. We defended it well during the BreakThru Session, we believe in it with all our heart, and we want it to become successful. Can you imagined how it feels when you achieve it? We were so glad and at the same time we were maintaining our sense of gratification.

Well as always, it's not the end of our journey. There are still lots more to come, lots more to prepare, and lots more to achieve. For those who have been supporting us all along, here is what we have to say to you :

"THANK YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING. WITHOUT EVERYONE'S HELP, WE BELIEVE WE'RE NOT GONNA BE THIS GREAT. THANKS AGAIN AND WE, RichyRich, WONT DISSAPOINT ALL OF YOU," sincerely from RichyRich.

There's a lot more effort to put in. We need to improve more in our business model. We will do our best! We believe together, we can CHANGE for the better. YES!

EXPERIENCE IN BREAKTHRU SESSION




On Saturday, March 13th, 2010, we, RichyRich, presented in front of a few panel of judges to secure our place for the top 10 of MAYBANK MoneyTree YES 2 Challenge. We were the third team that presented on that day.

Our presentation was going well, we presented as what we wanted it to be. We managed to get fully used of the time given. We were then been asked 3 questions, it was suppose to be only 2 questions, somehow they asked 3. Well, though it might seem a bit more, we were happy in a way because we knew they were interested in knowing more about our business. We managed to answers all of their questions.

LESSONS LEARNED :

1) It's not easy to have the big shots, the top guns to listen to you.
2) If you have the opportunity, don't waste it, make use of it.
3) Put more effort, though a lil more effort, it will be recognized.

The top logo is a RichyRich company logo. Black, orange and yellow are our corporate colors. Black symbolizes "Strong Stability", orange symbolizes "Creativity" while yellow symbolizes "Happiness". Therefore, our company is a "Happy Creative with Strong Stability" company. We want to provide our customers with goodness in life. We want them to be creative with their money, have a strong financial stability and lead a happy lifestyle.

The CashAr logo, below our company logo is a logo of our initial product. "YIELDS FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE" will be the headline of our product, CashAr. Here our goal will always want to help other people to solve their financial problems. We want to increase the rate of financial intelligent people, starting with our homeland, Malaysia. We have a dream of having people with financial intelligent skill all over the world. Possible? Well according to Adidas, "Impossible Is Nothing". So why not?
